Purple cauliflower crust vegan pizza (gf, oil free, vegan) 👏✨🍕here's the story, before I was vegan I used to love cauli crust pizzas, and I've tried and tried to make vegan versions because many recipes use eggs. I currently have a ton of cauliflower in the house so I've been making this crust and testing and I finally got it & in purple! It actually happened by accident because I left out a lot of ingredients and then it was too late by the time I realized. 🙈 3 cups cauliflower (I used half white half purple) grated or pulsed in blender 3 cups buckwheat flour or oat, or other gf flour 1 tsp arrowroot powder or baking powder (I ended up leaving this out accidentally and it still worked) 1 egg replacer (I used ground flax and ground chia and both work OR psyllium husk as suggested by @wholygoodness 😘, can also use FYH vegg or neat egg etc.) 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast flakes 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 tsp dried basil 1 teaspoon garlic powder other spices of choice Combine ingredients in a bowl to form a dough, then spread out onto a nonstick baking sheet or parchment paper. If you want a thicker crust with a little chew, don't spread out as thin. If you prefer more crunchy crust then do. Bake at 400F for 20-25 min or until crust is firm and slightly golden brown on edges and top. Add your favourite sauce (I used @engine2diet) and fresh veggies and bake for another 10 min or until veggies are cooked down.
